Grandmaster Michael Couhie
Grandmaster Michael Couhie (8th Dan in Taekwondo, 6th Dan in Hapkido) has been practicing the martial arts for over 55 years and was one of the first Americans to learn these martial arts after the Korean War in the 1950's. Under the instruction of Grandmaster Si Hak (Henry) Cho, 9th Dan, of New York City and later Grandmaster Young Ahn Kwon, 9th Dan, of Tewksbury, MA, he has taught these skills to countless adults and children, police and military, and passionate practitioners over his half-a-century career.
Passing these skills to his four children, they as a family are continuing the strong spirit of martial arts to the next generation and offering tons of extras at their center in Weare, NH!
